Welcome to the Wine in the Pines! My husband, Mr. Mustang and myself, Mrs. Mare started a website shortly after we were engaged and documented our journey through the wedding planning process. After the wedding, we decided to continue the website but focusing on our life as a married couple and detailing our experiences through the journey of life.
We came up with the name, The Wine in the Pines, as a nod to one of our favorite books, ‘The Wind in the Willows’ that played a large part in our wedding. We currently reside in the wine country region of the Pacific Northwest and a majority of our stories will be about our adventures as we grow as husband and wife.
We have a sister website, Cascadia Native that will have some cross pollination between the two sites but the main focus of The Wine in the Pines will be about us as a couple where Cascadia Native will primarily be a guide on things to do in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Keeping true to the The Wind in the Willows theme, no true names will be revealed and everyone mentioned on this site will have alternative animal identities and a handy org chart found HERE will keep you updated on who’s who.
